Why do people abuse others online?
That is a good question that most people never have the answer to. People online abuse for a wide rage of reasons and some are quite personal. Because the web and online world is not a real life face-to face interaction people feel they can be 'keyboard warriors' as they are behind a screen. People may feel insecure about themselves that they want others to also feel bad about themselves so they throw unpleasant, hate at people for no reason. The person who is giving the abuse also can't see the other persons reaction. This is the main reason for why people abuse others online.
People also abuse others online for the purpose that it gives them a sense of entertainment and an ego boost, this happens mainly in youths and teenagers.
Lastly people may abuse others online for the purpose to make themselves 'more popular' and entertain others. However by this happening it means it can encourage others to do it too.
